Quality Manager

Dr. Sara Tonini graduated in Business Economics in 1997 at the University of Pisa and began to deal with environmental issues when this choice was not yet obvious. After a Master’s degree in “Integrated Environmental Management: Ecology, Safety, Quality” at the Ghislieri College in Pavia, she took her first steps in business consultancy at the Environment Division of Ernst & Young Global Limited in Rome.

Later, she worked as a partner employee at the consultancy company Ambiente, first at the headquarters based in Carrara, then at its branch in Florence, by which she held the role of Studies and Research Sector’s Manager, dealing with, among other things, feasibility studies of territorial development projects, environmental certifications, environmental due diligence, research and activation of financing sources and innovative projects, including international ones, and attending as a teacher in training courses.

As a freelancer since 2016, she improved and enriched her consultancy skills by directing them towards the topics of project and quality management.

In 2021 she obtained the certificate of Auditor/Lead Auditor of Environmental Management Systems (UNI EN ISO 14001:2015) and Quality (UNI EN ISO 9001:2015).

She supported the RaSS (Radar and Surveillance Systems) National Laboratory of the National Interuniversity Consortium for Telecommunications (CNIT) in Pisa in the implementation of a Quality Management System and in obtaining the related certification, which took place in December 2016. Since 2020 she holds the role of Quality Manager of the Laboratory’s QMS.
