Amir Hossein Oveis
Researcher
Amir Hossein Oveis received his B.Sc. degree from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran, Iran in 2011, his M.Sc. degree from Amir Kabir University of Technology in Tehran in 2013, and his Ph.D. degree from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2018, all in the field of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunication. As part of a research project, he was awarded a scholarship from the National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications (CNIT) in Italy and joined the Radar and Surveillance Systems (RaSS) Laboratory in Pisa, Italy in November 2019. He also held a Postdoctoral Researcher position with the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa from 2021 to 2023. He is currently a Researcher at CNIT-RaSS, where his research focuses on Deep Learning, particularly Explainable Artificial Intelligence and Open Set Recognition, as well as Incremental Learning for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Target Recognition.
