Researcher at the National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications, Radar, and Surveillance Systems National Lab since February 2012. Specialized in cybersecurity, forensic engineering, incident management, and remediation. Participated in the NATO AFSC Small Scale Study Project IV on “Information Assurance” in 2018, receiving appreciation from NATO Chief Scientist Dr. Thomas H. Killion. Served as the research manager for two projects funded by the Italian Ministry of Defense, focusing on cyber risk management in radar systems for hypersonic threats and cyber resilience in the military underwater environment. Appointed as a digital evidence expert in various criminal cases, including ship accidents and high-profile incidents. Published scientific papers and technical reports. NATO Project Director for the “Anti-Drones – Innovative concept to detect, recognize and track ‘killer-drones’” project from June 2019 to September 2022. Coordinated scientific and technical aspects of the project funded by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme. European Defence Agency Governmental expert in the Cyber Defence Capability Technology Area (CapTech) since June 2023. Previously served as a non-governmental expert in the same area from September 2020 to June 2023. Co-founder of ECHOES s.r.l, a CNIT spin-off company focused on radar systems, since July 2015. Lecturer at various universities, delivering advanced training courses in digital forensics and network forensics. Also served as a lecturer for a Master’s program and delivered lectures on network security and forensic engineering. Internship at the WebLab Laboratory, Department of Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, from November 2017 to October 2018. Guest Lecturer in Digital Forensics applied to industrial accidents for organizations such as EMAIIF, MAIB, and DIGIFEMA, presenting on naval safety and information security at various international institutions.
