Open doors at our first #Openday

Opening Our Doors to Innovation

On May 13, 2025, the Radar and Surveillance Systems Laboratory (RaSS Lab) at CNIT Pisa welcomed students, PhD candidates, and academics for a full day dedicated to cutting-edge research in radar and applied electromagnetism. Participants attended two interactive sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each session featured a presentation of the Lab’s mission and ongoing projects, in-depth discussions on thematic research areas, and a hands-on exploration of the Lab’s technologies and facilities.

Engaging with Research and Technology

Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with researchers, experience live demonstrations of radar systems, and learn more about real-world applications of electromagnetic technologies developed at RaSS. The event fostered meaningful exchanges between attendees and the RaSS research team, highlighting the Lab’s commitment to innovation and collaboration.

Opportunities for Aspiring Researchers

The RaSS Lab is actively seeking young researchers interested in joining a dynamic team working at the forefront of radar and surveillance technologies. If you’re curious about research opportunities at RaSS, you can express your interest here: Expression of Interest – RaSS Lab
