APIS demonstrator geometry: The trajectories of three targets, acquired with an ADS-B (Automatic Dependant Surveillance Broadcast) receiver, are shown with different colours.

2D Range-Doppler maps before (a) and after (b) tracking algorithm. In the measurement plots, colour corresponds to increasing time stamps from red to blue. Real trajectories provide smooth colour transitions. In the trajectory images (b) different object are plot with different colours (blue and purple).

Target Direction of Arrival estimation. It is possible to see: the peak due to the Torrespaña illuminator at 240° for all considered PRIs, a clutter peak at 158 degrees, in the same position for all considered PRIs, corresponding to the direction of another DVBT illuminator, a peak moving between 165° and 171° corresponding to the azimuth position of the target

(a) Airbus 320 (37m length, 34m width).
Three ISAR images obtained by using acquired data relative to three different types of airplanes, specifically an Airbus A320, an Airbus A321 and an Airbus 340. The airplanes in (a) and (b) were landing whereas the target in (c) was taking off. The estimated fuselage length of the targets are 33m for the A320, 39m for the A321 and 58m for the A340, which are all consistent with the actual fuselage size.
