NIOM Study and development of a system for EMC/EMI prediction aimed at managing the potential risks due to the mutual interference of naval systems

The purpose of the project is to carry out a Risk Reduction Study of Electromagnetic Potential Issues (EMI) related to the New Hydro Oceanic Unit (NIOM). The objective of the activity is to provide the appropriate tools for the EMI evaluation. This evaluation is performed by means of the most accurate and efficient simulation codes, which represent the state of the art of numerical simulation. The prediction/modeling evaluation phase is followed by an experimental measurement phase that serves both for validating the results obtained in the previous phase and for obtaining parameters to be used in the global simulation at system level.
